As the lead aerospace engineer on MIT's Boeing GoFly Challenge Team, I was responsible for the technical design of a low-cost high-endurance personal vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft. This design had to meet many power consumption, noise production, and safety criteria. My primary contributions were in acoustic modeling. We were one of the only all-student teams to pass Phase I review and be recommended for Phase II.
